Please note: this privacy policy only relates to the use of the Neurocast website and not to the use of apps.

Neurocast values the protection of personal information. This Privacy Policy is based on Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation and contains the rights and obligations of the Company with regard to the external persons whose personal data have been processed mainly in the context of the use of the company’s technology. 

 

This "Privacy Policy" regulates the processing of your data by the company responsible for the processing: Neurocast BV, Dutch Chamber of Commerce: 68265425

 

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, as it contains essential information about how your data is processed and which cookies are used.

 

By providing your data on this website and by providing data mentioned on this website, you declare that you have taken note of this Privacy Policy and you also expressly agree with it, as well as with the processing itself.

 

Article 1 – General 

  1. Neurocast complies with the applicable privacy regulations of the GDPR.
    This means that we: 
    - Process your data in accordance with the goal for which they have been provided. These goals and the data processed by Neurocast are documented in this privacy policy;
    - Limit the processing of your data to only those data points that are minimally required for the purposes for which they are processed;
    - Ask for your express consent when needed for the processing of your data;
    - Have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is secured;
    - Agree not to pass on data to other parties, unless this is necessary for carrying out the purposes for which they were provided;
    - Indicate the rights you have with regard to the processing of your data.

 

Article 2 – What and why we collect data

2.1 To analyze the visits to our website we use Google Analytics. This analytics framework places some cookies on your computer to identify your browser.

 

We use the information gathered to analyze visitor behavior and improve our website. The IP-address you use to connect to the website may be logged in this process.

 

2.2 Our website uses cookies to help analyze the usage of our website. Apart from the IP-address you use to connect to the website, no personal identifiable information is collected. The use of cookies may enable us to identify your browser on subsequent visits. For the provisions regarding the use of cookies, see article 7.

 

2.3 When you sign up for our newsletter and / or marketing emails we collect your email address with the use of MailChimp. You can unsubscribe your email address at any time by using the options provided in the emails, or by contacting us directly.

 

When you fill in a vacancy form on our website, we will collect and use your data during the job application process.

2.4 In rare cases, it may happen that Neurocast must disclose your data pursuant to a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations. Neurocast will make reasonable efforts to inform you about this, unless this is subject to legal restrictions. 

 

Article 3 – Duration of processing 

The personal data are stored and processed by us for a period that is necessary depending on the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual relationship between Neurocast and you. 

 

The data collected for events and users in Google analytics is automatically deleted after 12 months. 

 

Article 4 – Your rights 

4.1 Right of access and inspection: 

You have the right to inspect your personal data free of charge at any time, as well as the use we make of your personal data.

 

4.2 Right of correction, deletion and restriction: 

You are free to decide whether or not to share your personal data with Neurocast.

 

In addition, you always have the right to request us to correct, supplement or delete your personal data. You acknowledge that in the event of refusal of communication or request for deletion of personal data, certain services and products will not be available. You may also ask to restrict the processing of your personal data. 

 

4.3 Right to object: 

You also have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons. In addition, you always have the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such a case, you do not need to give any reasons. 

 

4.4 Right of free data transfer: 

You have the right to obtain your personal data processed by us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transfer them to other controllers. 

 

4.5 Right to withdraw consent: 

Insofar as the processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. 

 

4.6 Exercising your rights: 

You can exercise your rights by contacting us for this purpose, either by e-mail or by post to Neurocast, provided that a copy of your identity card is attached. 

 

4.7 Automatic decisions and profiling: 

The processing of your personal data does not include profiling and you will not be a subject to automated decisions. 

 

4.8 Right to lodge a complaint: 

Neurocast takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.

 

If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us via privacy@neurocast.nl. We are happy to help you find a solution. If that does not work, you can always contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority, by following this link.

 

Article 5 – Security and confidentiality 

5.1 We have developed technically and organisationally appropriate security measures to prevent the destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, unauthorised access or accidental disclosure to third parties of personal data collected as well as any other unauthorised processing of these data. 

 

5.2 Under no circumstances can Neurocast be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use by a third party of the personal data.

 

5.3 You must comply with the safety regulations at all times, including by any failure to 

prevent permitted access to your login and code. So, you are the only one responsible for the use made from the website of your computer, IP address and of your identification data, as well as for its confidentiality. 

 

Article 6 – Access by third parties 

6.1 In order to be able to process your personal data, we grant access to your personal data to our employees and/or contractors.

 

6.2 We guarantee a similar level of protection by making contractual obligations enforceable against these employees and/or contractors and appointees, which are similar to this Privacy Policy.

 

6.3 To provide you with this website and to contact you by email we use the service of the following companies:

  • TransIP[AK2]  – for hosting our website

  • Google Analytics – for analyzing the site’s usage

  • MailChimp – to collect your email address and send you emails

  • Typeform – to collect information during the job application process.

 

These parties process data on our behalf and shall not collect more data than we provide beside what they are required to collect on the basis of applicable laws.
